The UK must pay City executives enough if it wants to remain a top finance hub, London Stock Exchange Group boss David Schwimmer has warned.

“If the UK wants to be a global centre for capital, and a centre for globally competitive companies, then compensation for executives in those companies needs to be globally competitive,” Schwimmer told Financial News.
