The London Stock Exchange Group has announced a series of high-profile changes to its senior management team and board, ahead of a year that chief executive Xavier Rolet has described as “operationally, one of consolidation for the group”.

Key joiners include Alexander Justham, the respected former director of markets at the UK Financial Services Authority, and David Warren, a former chief financial officer at LSE rival, Nasdaq OMX.
