New EY boss won’t break up the firm

The Big Four firm’s radical plan to split its business, codenamed Project Everest, was scrapped last year, but difficult questions remain for the accountancy giant

Incoming EY global chief executive Janet Truncale has ruled out trying to split the firm in two again, according to reports.

Truncale has told staff “we’re going to recommit to working together… as one organisation” in an internal memo seen by the Financial Times.
