NYSE Euronext said this morning that Groupe Eurotunnel, operator of the channel tunnel, will switch its UK listing from the London Stock Exchange to NYSE Euronext in July. The defection marks the first listing for the US exchange's London market since its launch nearly two years ago.

Speaking to journalists this morning, Jacques Gounon, chairman and chief executive officer of Groupe Eurotunnel - which is also listed on NYSE Euronext's Paris market - said that the company's LSE listing does not have enough liquidity.
