Perella Weinberg Partners has hired a senior dealmaker from Barclays as the boutique continues to expand its coverage of private and high-growth companies in Europe.

Laura Klaassen, who was latterly head of equity private placements at the UK lender, is set to join Perella Weinberg in a similar role, according to people with knowledge of the appointment. Barclays named Sita Noble as head of private capital markets for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in May.
