Standard Life Aberdeen is lining up its first bond issue since completing the blockbuster merger that created an investment firm with £660bn under management.

The firm has invited investors to a series of fixed income meetings in the UK and Asia. A spokesman said meetings will be held in London and Singapore on October 9 and London and Hong Kong on October 10, with investor calls also scheduled in the coming days.
