Citigroup hired JPMorgan’s co-head of financial sponsors in Europe in the latest senior dealmaker to make the switch across to the US bank. Sidharth Punshi, who was promoted to co-head of JPMorgan’s financial sponsors group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in May, is set to join Citigroup as head of UK, Europe and MEA alternative assets group.
