Nomura hires in Paris
Japanese investment bank Nomura has appointed Frédéric Giovansili as managing director and head of global market sales for western Europe. Giovansili, who will be based in Paris, will be responsible for leading solutions and flow sales in western Europe. He previously worked at Citi and Merrill Lynch.

Nordic bank SEB strengthens UK team
Nordic corporate bank SEB has appointed Nick Blake as its head of transaction services for large corporate and financial institution clients in the UK. Over the past thirty years, Blake has held positions at banks including JPMorgan, RBS and HSBC.
