The new global head of fixed income, currencies and commodities structuring at UBS has made a raft of appointments to the business, including hiring a former Bank of America Merrill Lynch structuring specialist who had been working on his own boutique firm.

Financial News revealed in late May that Andrea Sambo had been named global head of FICC structuring and promoted to the FICC executive committee at UBS, having previously led the business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
