Walleye Capital has hired Citadel’s Eric Nolette as director of data and insights for the New York-headquartered hedge fund’s equity long-short business.

Nolette, who will join Walleye’s New York office on 7 October, will establish and lead a centralised data science team in his new role, according to people familiar with the matter.
