Algorithmic trading firm XTX Markets is pushing into new ‘dark’ trading venues to grow its client-facing US equities business.

London-based XTX is trying to capitalise on hot demand for so-called private rooms, also known as hosted rooms, its co-chief executive Hans Buehler told Financial News.
